This is a great story about time travel. Time travel with a twist.

You can go back in time in increments of 300 years but the further you go back the shorter the period of time you can stay. The first 300 year jump back to 1660 allows you 6 months, after which you return to the same moment you left. Go back another 300 years to 1360 and you only stay there for 3 months and so on.
